Eggbutts

Eggbutts are generally one of the most popular ring designs you will find in the equestrian market, less common in the dressage arena than normal loose-ring bits, more often seen in show hunter disciplines. Eggbutts are a popular choice for riding schools and sometimes used in horse racing, eventing, show jumping, and equitation riding. They are occasionally seen in western riding. Eggbutts are commonly used as a gentle bit with which to start young horses on.
