The Weymouth Bridle, often called a Full Bridle or Double Bridle is used primarily for dressage and horse show events and is regarded more as formal tack. In the hands of an experienced horse rider, the Weymouth Bridle setup can transmit more precise commands to the horse and obtain more sophisticated response making it the prefered setup for advanced forms of riding.
